His filmography includes The Restless, Reign of Assassins, Ballerina, Boston 1947, The Forbidden Kingdom, Sunny, Flu, Tazza: The Hidden Card, Swing Kids, Bargain, and Concrete Utopia. He received Best Visual Effects awards at the 44th Grand Bell Awards and the 28th Blue Dragon Film Awards. He holds an M.S. in Information Engineering from USC and a Ph.D. in Computer Graphics from the University of Cambridge. In 2010, Charles returned to Taiwan to found TWR, bringing world-class graphics expertise into film and television production and continuing to advance it through ongoing R&D.
